Coach Corey is a very special coach. From his bust of enat 6am, to his knowledge of not only strength building but also mobility and recovery, he has all the tools to make you a better version of you. When I first started working with Coach Corey I had torn my LCL & MCL back to back. I was struggling to keep my knee stable and had a fight coming up in about 4 months. Coach Corey helped me not only rehab my knee injury but also build strength for that fight and I ended up getting a first round knockout (first knockout via punch in my 30+ fight career). So when I would lie on the bench for bench press etc, my feet never touched the floor so I would usually rest my feet on the foot of the bench…. Not great…. I attributed it to being short. Well yesterday my feet were in full contact, planted into the ground giving me so much more stability and strength potential… why? Because my hip flexors are opened up, looser…. That allows me to actually lift properly and with more weight… this shit is good!!!!!

I first decided to reach out to Corey because a few people I know were raving about him and their results from working with him. I was skeptical as I had worked with other trainers people recommended and that didn't go so well. When I reached out all I knew about him was, he was a vegan and a trainer. I was not expecting him to specialize in mobility. This turned out to be a huge plus for me as I struggled with hip pain/movement daily . I have a desk job and have been sitting 5 days a week for the last 6 years straight. As you can imagine, it's taken it's toll on my body. I sought a trainer out that specialized in mobility because I wanted to get that aspect of my life back after suffering some pretty bad football injuries that ruined both my knees. in addition, working desk jobs and having a generally sedentary lifestyle was not helping. i had in a lot of pain in my back, and my neck, and legs. it's been great working with corey cuz not only are we having a good time while training, but he's been great at finding my limits, getting me to push past them, all while imparting knowledge and being very supportive and non-judgemental. since we started working together i've gotten back on the trails, and back on my bike, and not surprisingly much of the pain i was experiencing has been relieved, and a lot of what i thought the injuries had taken away i've getting back piece by piece. i've honestly gotten way more benefit out of working with corey than I have going to physical therapy, for two reasons: 1) i come in ready to work, 2) corey is simply dedicated to his craft. not just for the elite athletes out there! looking forward to going above and beyond with this dude!

I've had the pleasure of working alongside Corey for a couple of months now. I was thoroughly impressed with how knowledgeable and how passionate he was/is about his craft so I decided to hire him to help me with my mobility issues. I am also currently a personal trainer, however my specialty lies in bodybuilding and resistance training for optimal muscle gain and minimal fat loss. Over the past eight years, I have severely neglected stretching and mobility drills, and my body is starting to feel the effects of that negligence. In order to get my body back to optimal performance, I decided to hire Corey to work with me to increase my mobility and range of motion, specifically within my hips and shoulders, and I can already see a significant difference. Corey is such a cool person to be around, but his passion for his craft and the lifestyle is what really sets him apart. He has already taught me so many new exercises to strengthen my weakness and correct my imbalances, so that when I do finally regain my optimal range of motion, I can remain injury free and break through my old plateaus. Although, we have yet to use any weights during our sessions, I have never been more sore, and I have made more progress than I ever have been able to accomplish on my own.
